I was just trying to add Adsense to this blog and found several plugins available to add Google adsense to wordpress. Finally, I managed to add Google Adsense to this blog without any plugins– this solution takes around 5 mins to setup and it only uses the text widget available in wordpress by default.
Step 1: Login to your blog as administrator
Step 2: Click on Appearance
Step 3: Select Widgets

Ok it’s up to you to decide whether you need to monetize your blog or not but I guess, most of you must be doing that. And do you know you need to keep on playing with the ads position to find out the spot for more earnings? But sometimes you face the problem to have your ads displayed in the right position you wanted to. May be you need to edit your blogger template in order to do that. So in this post, I wanted to include tips that will help you to display your Adsense ads in better position and thus increase you earnings.

 If you are including your ads via gadget, you can simply follow the ways of adding a new gadget and select adsense ads to include ad in your blog.
 But if you want to display somewhere in places where you cannot add gadget, then you may need to edit your template. This post will show you how to exactly do that. (Note: you may need to some basic Html skills, at least in order to identify the codes where you need to add the advertisement code)

1. Log in to your dashboard–> Navigate to layout –>Edit Html Tab

2. Before you edit your blogger Template, Make sure you backup every time, by clicking on the Download Full Template so that you may restore it if something goes wrong.

3. You may need to “expand Widget Templates”. To do that check the box and it will expand itself.

4. You should have got the Adsense code or other html that you want to add. And now you need to change the code. Otherwise you are gonna get error like
 Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
5. Ok so what you need to do is, Parse the Google Adsense Html or any other Html. To do that change the following characters to the given ones.

Found it complex and time consuming. Try this tool Escape Html from blogcrowds. Copy and Paste your Google Adsense or other code to the textbox in the tool and click on parse.
 6. Now when you have got the parsed code, Paste that code to the specific place you need to display it. Now it should work perfectly.

Content Issues:

 When Google Adsense rejects yours Applications they sent you a mail telling explaning about the reason what is caused for the rejection. Ads The Adsense policy says Adsense publishers cant place adds on pages with copyright materials you have to legal rights to do so. So the Adsense Team is quick experting in rejecting those people applications straightaway when publisher apply. If Your Site is orignial with unique content which is not pulished anywhere then your application will be approved.

Domain Ownership Issues:

 According to the rules of AdSense, publisher’s website whois details should be matching with the Payee Name that you mention during the application. If that doesn’t matches then AdSense team would clearly mention about this problem in the mail which that they communicate with you. This is not the AdSense rejection but its a step before you can proceed with your AdSense Account. If AdSense team ask for this then that is must for you to verify domain ownership by mentioning it in a page in your site.

Page Type

 Page type issues maybe of anything of contents that is not acceptable according to the AdSense policies. Most of the applications are rejected now a days because the site with which you apply has one post or too little content or copy paste contents. Its beginning for you but its not enough for you to satisfy advertisers and so not enough to satisfy AdSense.
 For major areas in the world, AdSense has set up minimum domain age eligibility, i.e., your site should be at least 6 months old which means that your blog should be operation and have content for at least 6 months. So if start a blog in January with one post and wait for six months your account will probably not be approved. Also provided that your blog should be interesting to read and helpful for the people.

Poor Navigation Issues:

 Poor navigation in your website or blog can be an issue too. Website having navigation or menu buttons that don’t link to any webpage or links to a broken menu links can create an issue.
 Flash navigation are difficult for the Google bots to follow so it’s advised to use less flash and more text links.

Under Construction Sites:

 For most of the reason people apply for AdSense with Under Construction page for this site. This is not at all acceptable by Google in any case for the approval of AdSense. If you apply for a site with Under Construction Page then your application is subjected to rejection straightaway.
 So make sure that you don’t have Under Construction page when you are applying as a publishers.

Languages

 AdSense only supports few languages which are widely spoken which are mentioned at AdSense Supported Languages. If your website is rejected for non-supported language then you can’t do anything.
